2026 International Championship kicks off

From October 31 to November 7, the 2026 World Snooker Tour International Championship will take place at the Nanjing Southern New City National Fitness Center. On October 30, the welcome banquet was held at the Radisson Hotel in Nanjing Southern New City, bringing together the world’s top snooker stars and leading Chinese players, drawing the global snooker spotlight to Nanjing.

The International Championship is one of the premier events on the World Snooker Tour and was the first top-level tournament established outside the UK. It is also one of the highest-level snooker tournaments in China. First held in China in 2012, this year marks the twelfth edition and the third consecutive year the event has been staged in Nanjing. The tournament offers a total prize fund of £825,000, with the champion taking home £175,000.
