On November 4, the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) announced its Players of the Week for the second week of the season, with Fujian's Zou Yang named Domestic Player of the Week and Guangzhou's Tahjere McCall named Foreign Player of the Week.

Zou averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in 34 minutes per game this week, shooting an impressive 68.9% from the field and 53.8% from three-point range while committing just 0.5 turnovers per game. In the eighth round against Sichuan Jincheng, Zou delivered an outstanding all-around performance with 34 points, 10 rebounds and five steals, leading his team to victory.
The last time a domestic player recorded at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five steals in a CBA game was in March 2024, when Zou himself achieved the feat with 32 points, 11 rebounds and six steals against Shanxi. Thanks to Zou's outstanding performances, Fujian won three of the four games he played this week.

McCall averaged 26.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 3.0 steals in 32 minutes per game this week. Despite averaging 10.0 assists, he committed just 1.3 turnovers per game. He led Guangzhou to a 2-1 record in the three games he played this week.
